Who cares about the alcoholics and addicts?

Other than the immediate family, God and the people of God, who cares? Sobriety International cares. We at Sobriety International want to meet and encourage people who would otherwise have no hope of recovery. Developing countries throughout the world rarely have recovery programs that reach the people where they live. Sobriety International desires to work through local Christian churches in these countries and join hands with Pastor’s to serve and save their people.

Sobriety International teaches life transformation skills through a Christ Centered 12 Step Program. We teach awareness, acceptance, repentance, reconciliation, restitution, accountability and ambassadorship. It is our earnest desire to assist the people who will, in turn, assist other people with similar troubles. The act of empowering leaders allows for the work of Sobriety International to continue in our absence.

Those who recover help those who want to recover. How much can Sobriety International do in a world so full of problems?

Our purpose is fulfilled one person at a time. If one man quits drinking and returns to his family, we have now affected him, his wife and their children. Not to mention his immediate family and his wife’s immediate family. Additionally, their neighbors and local community will become aware and share in their joy. Transformation of this kind brings glory to God because He is the center of the12 Step Program. The local church now becomes the core of Sobriety International’s Christ Centered 12 Step Program and all who desire to quit are welcome. As time passes, a community of recovery will be formed which will offer hope through the love of Jesus to all who suffer from addictions.
